You Got to Show Them the Bowling Balls: The Doppelgang’s All Here

The season 13 finale is here and Harry Dubin is still calling. Luann de Lesseps pretends to be Ramona Singer on the phone with Harry. Sonja Morgan calls him out on sucking face with Ramona and then he says Sonja hasn’t spoken to him in years. In her confessional, Lu thinks Ramona does have male friends she doesn’t sleep with, but Harry isn’t one of them. Leah McSweeney makes them share their best and worst sexual experiences. Sonja demonstrates to the ladies how to check a man’s “credentials” before going home with him. Ramona reveals to Leah that she bought pasties for everyone. They dance around topless with their pink boas.

10:30 AM: The women are starting to wake up. Sonja and Ramona can’t believe that Eboni K. Williams participated in their topless dancing and Leah and Eboni can’t believe the topless dancing was Ramona’s idea.

The women arrive at Calissa for lunch. Lu comments on the lamb and we get a full circle moment; including a flash back to Garth’s lamb. (Ahh, we were so young back then.) Ramona asks the women to share their best Valentine’s Day stories and Leah says she doesn’t have any. She begins to get emotional when she talks about the romantic gestures her ex Rob used to do for her. Eboni and Lu comfort Leah as she confesses she gets sad thinking about how she sacrifices a blended family by keeping their inner circle just her, Rob and their daughter Kier. The women break plates in the restaurant and scream mantras.

Bershan Shaw finally joins the women. Lu had decided that the identity swap should be done with a pair of women who beefed with each other. Leah and Ramona swap. Sonja and Bershan swap. Lu and Eboni swap. Sonja defined her Bershan costume as stilt like chunky shoes, a hat, and labels. Ramona does her Leah impression with a lot of gum chewing before almost choking on it. Leah has an IV drip to add to her speculation that Ramona lied about COVID. Eboni greeted Bershan with a “Sonjarita, darling”. Ramona took the IV bag as a good sport but complained the dress Leah chose wasn’t right. (It’s Jovani.) Ramona flirts with the bartender who thinks she looks nice dressed as Leah. Eboni sings “Happy Birthday” to Ramona in a deep breathy voice.

The women sit down for dinner and play a game. The game is that they have to answer a question as their alter ego. Most of the questions are an opportunity for the women to compliment each other. Leah and Bershan hug and Leah’s Ramona wig comes off. Lu yells at her to put it back on. Leah quickly changes after the game into a robe. The episode ends with Leah giving a speech about how their group personal dynamics reflect America and model how to resolve conflict across demographic gaps. The ladies chant for Leah to run for Mayor.
