Lead Deckhand Jake and Second Stew Fraser are just finding out that while blackout drunk the night before, they made out. Jake handles it much better than Fraser. Chief Stew Heather decides to deal with Third Stew Jess's lack of enthusiasm and work output by taking her off laundry and putting her on service, an area she has admitted to having little experience and confidence in.
Captain Lee holds a charter meeting and decides they will leave the dock early in the morning and set the toys up early so the guests can enjoy their vacation right away.
Deckhands Rayna and Wes talk about their experience being Black in America. Wes hasn't experience anything he calls outwardly racist, but he also grew up splitting time between The States and the Caribbean. Rayna recalls a time she was a victim of a hate crime in Minneapolis where three white men assaulted her and a friend in an elevator.
Fraser gets the laundry room in order. The Deck Crew bungles getting the slide out smoothly. First Mate Eddie criticizes Captain Lee changing up their routine as it results in chaos from the rest of the crew. Jake critiques Wes and Rayna's lack of hustle to get the slide out. The Interior decorates for a boob themed party to celebrate the primary guest beating breast cancer. While Jess ducks into the pantry to get a wine glass, a guest wanders behind the bar to mix their own drink. Heather, who is in the room adjacent to the bar, is mortified. She sends Jess down to cabins and calls Fraser up to help with the table. Heather checks the work of Jess down in the master and calls her back down to correct her turn down service. Jess uses the same towel she cleans the bidet with to wipe down the counter around the sink.
Once the guests go to bed, Heather leaves a list for Jess and tells her that they are at the end of the rope with her job performance and she has become a burden on interior. Jess says she is confused because people have told her she's doing great and it just seems like this is coming out of no where. Heather tells her that was just positive reinforcement and that she needs to start pulling her weight. She goes to bed with low morale.
The next morning, Jess has decided to stick out the rest of the season. The Deck Team get the slide out and low and behold it is twisted, again. Wes goes out on the jet-ski intending to fix it and instead displays a lack of common sense that results in him sucking the rope into the jet-ski. Eddie begins to fume as both he, Rayna, Captain Lee, and the guest all yell corrections at Wes. Captain Lee characterizes this display of behavior as unbecoming of a First Officer. As if this wasn't unprofessional enough, Rayna and Jake scream at each other within earshot of the guests.
