The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills are off to San Diego for a Girls' Trip. Kyle Richards uses a $890 sandal to hold her phone up to facetime Crystal Minkoff. Kathy Hilton is "organizing" the trip. Kathy facetime Dorit Kemlsey to be caught up on the drama still surrounding her and Garcelle Beauvais. Kathy allows Dorit to ramble endlessly while she empties out her purse. Sutton Stracke has a sprained ankle and is using her 250+ shoe collection as motivation to heal. Erika Jayne Girardi pops in to tell the women she has her dog in the car so she's going to meet them there. Crystal gives her props for being crafty to get away from the group. Someone leaves Kyle's front door open and her dogs escape. Kathy has forgotten her purse back at home. Kyle asks her who to talk to at the house to retrieve it and Kathy says, "The Lady". "The Lady" meets them and a faceless star is born.
At the hotel, Kyle and Kathy are sharing the presidential suite. Sutton's ankle worsens and she has to go to the emergency room. Dorit and Erika join the Richard sisters in their room. Kathy had planned a pop up picnic for the women. She asked the hotel for one when they got there. The women are enamored with the sealions; who Kyle says are posing on the beach like Dorit poses for Instagram. They bring up Sutton to Erika and they rehash the fight from Kathy's dinner party. Dorit asks about the original Tom Girardi car accident and Erika uses the word "alleged" to talk about his head injury. She also clarifies that she refused the surgery because a man of Tom's age, after a traumatic brain injury, shouldn't go under anesthesia. Erika claims she was the only person trying to raise the alarm about Tom's "alleged" mental state. Erika says Sutton deserves to be threatened for calling her a liar.
Garcelle arrives and she likens the accommodations to that of The Stanley Hotel from The Shining. Sutton arrives in a wheelchair at Garcelle's suite. In her talking head, Sutton says she's a good person and a good friend and we see a flashback to the secret meeting the women had without Erika at Dorit's. A bombshell scene reveals that Sutton has offered Erika financial support while she divorces Tom. Almost all of the women are wearing black except Erika, in white, and Kathy, in pink. Kyle and Kathy are very late to dinner and Kyle gets anxious over ignoring Lisa Rinna's call. Kathy asks, "Is Rinna your boss?" (No, but it does seem that way sometimes. Doesn't it?)
Seated for dinner, Kyle calls back to Season 6 with "Why don't you have a piece of bread, and calm down?" Kathy stirs the pot with a general line about lingering issues making her anxious and the women take the bait. Sutton tells Erika that she will not apologize for calling a meeting and asking questions. Erika calls Sutton "small-minded". Kathy asks for Erika to offer forgiveness, but Erika declines. Dorit tries to say that Sutton isn't being made to look like the bad guy. Garcelle corrects her that everyone did gang up on Sutton at Kathy's dinner and Dorit tries to say that they are helping Sutton when they gang up on her. Kathy tells Dorit that she thought she was over her beef with Garcelle. Dorit starts using her rehearsed lines about preferring "transparent", "upfront", friends. Rinna calls Garcelle out on not being a good friend to the other women, for being shady, and tells her to "Be honest". Garcelle gets very real about being the only black woman in the group and having to walk in a room, feel different from everyone else, and constantly have to prove herself to others. Kathy invites the women to have a cup of coffee in the Richard Sister suite and no one wants to hang out.
Kathy has arranged a sound bath for the women, inspired by the one she experienced at Kim Kardashian's baby shower. Garcelle wheels Sutton out of her room. Kathy falls asleep during the sound bath. Erika is a no show and Rinna tells Kyle and Dorit that more Tom related news has made the press. Kyle and Rinna visit Erika to find out what's going on. Tom's brother wants to place Tom in a home that specializes in dementia. Erika wants to step in as a caretaker for Tom and get him at home care.
