The Vanderpump Rules gang open Episode 4 celebrating the engagement of Raquel Leviss and James Kennedy. Ariana Madix tells Tom Sandoval that Rachella had his fingerprints on it and reveals she is softening her stance on never getting married to Sandoval. Tom Schwartz sits down with Sandoval and Sandoval tells him R-Chella cost $25k (that he split with James). Schwartz is a little annoyed that they are trying to raise capital for their new bar and Sandoval is spending a good amount of money on something like this. Schwartz tells Sandoval he can name the bar after seeing Rachella and believing in whatever Sandoval's vision will be for the bar.
The morning after, Katie Maloney-Schwartz is upset that Sandoval was planning a festival when he should have been focusing on the bar. She's more annoyed that Schwartz conceded the fight about the bar's name as they hate "Schwartz and Sandy's".
James calls Lisa Vanderpump and tells her how the engagement went. LVP gets out of James that the Tiffany's diamond didn't come from Tiffany's itself but from a diamond dealer downtown. LVP is confused.
Lala Kent and Katie do an electro muscle stimulation workout. Afterwards, Katie talks to Lala about her fertility concerns and the upcoming appointment Schwartz and her have for the doctor. Lala shares with Katie that Scheana Shay's boyfriend Brock Davies hasn't seen his kids from his previous marriage in 4 years.
Schwartz asked Sandoval to come over to help him get to the doctor on time with his "sample". Sandoval arrives with a care package. The contents of this wicker briefcase include: a soft towel, Astroglide, Gwyneth Paltrow's infamous vagina candle (on loan), and face shield. After 16 minutes, Schwartz has created his "sample". .
James bought Max Vanderpump an Oculus 2 as a peace offering after their explosive fight about splitting a salad. James tells Raquel she can't ding her engagement ring on plates at work and thus mess up a "$100,000" ring.
Scheana and Lala go shopping. Scheana reveals her daughter is verified on Instagram. Lala begins questioning Scheana about Brock. Scheana acknowledges her poor track record with previous men but stands by Brock and defends him.
Raquel and James sit down with each other's families for lunch. Raquel's sister Kate is critical of James and fears Raquel will be viewed poorly by her association with him if his poor antics continue.
Ariana, Katie, and LVP meet the Toms at TomTom. Katie shares their fertility struggle with LVP. LVP reassures her that "It will be her turn." In her confessional, LVP discusses how out of all of Katie's closest friends, she is the only one without a baby as they all gave birth at around the same time. The Toms join the women at the table. LVP has the conversation turn to their new bar. When they discuss Katie's involvement in the bar, Sandoval brings up that the possibility of a public undressing (from Katie to him) brings him anxiety for her to be involved in their new bar and to work with him. Sandoval tells Katie that she makes him feel like a psychopath and she is an entitled person. Schwartz and Ariana tell him to go take a walk. The episode ends with Sandoval having a smoke at the TomTom dumpster.
